Yes, as I recall, you actually met Neil Armstrong -- overseas some where and he made a beeline for your blue-eyed blonde all-American-osity and shook your hand.

I've never met an astronaut.

Met Charlton Heston once after I wrote about him. That was nice. And he played an astronaut in Planet of the Apes. Does that count?

I dig how even a 72-year-old Apollo astronaut is not to be trifled with, as demonstrated by the panache with which Buzz gave a lumbering knucklehead a well-deserved knuckle sandwich Go Buzz, I say.
